How much will you sacrifice today…for the betterment of tomorrow?
My 40 day journey begins, right now. I just ate my last cheat meal. I have everything that I need to have vitamins and supplements wise. My lifting plans are up on the board. My mind is right. Today I wanted to talk about sacrifice because that really is what this journey is all about. It is about giving up everything that I absolutely love eating, for a lifestyle change that will last me a lifetime. In 40 days, I will have reached the greatest potential I have ever even imagined. I will have taken my mind and my body to levels previously unattained, and I know in my heart I will be better off because of it. Why am I doing this?
While the physique will be awesome, it has nothing to do with that. It has everything to do with the fact that I want to put my mind to something against major challenges…and succeed. There will be many instances along the way where I will be battered, sore, unmotivated, and unwilling to keep going. But like in any game, you can’t win if you don’t play. 40 days. 40 days from now I will put another picture up on this page of me at bay to breakers (an awesome run event in San Francisco). I will have a huge smile on my face, and I will have achieved something great.
Remember, every single step you take today, will have an impact on how you walk in the future.
Wake up, and say, ‘I am going to be a champion.’

The Better Man Project
Thank you so much for sharing. I finally worked out two days ago (less sore now thank goodness), after much motivation, inspired by blogs like yours. And you’re totally right, it’s not just about having a great look, but meeting those goals, and kicking myself in the bass to get there.
Thank you so much for motivating me to reach higher heights. π
Love the vid.
We are with you each step, grunt, groan, leg lift, squat, bench press, protein shake of the way.
Be encouraged!
hello friend,
I have been a big follower of your project. I was sitting in my car and this song came on the radio.. i thought of you right away. Not so much that you wanted to be superman, ( Superman by The Kinks)more like the words of the song spoke to me of what I imagined your project to be about.

We are all cheering you on!
I nominated you for a Sunshine Award. Check it out at http://www.claireclopez.com! You rock!
Good Luck!!!
You may be battered and sore but I don’t believe for a second you will be unwilling to go on. Tempted to bail, probably. Uncertain, maybe. But I’m positive you ultimately will…keep…going.
CRUSH IT!
