It seems like, at least for the past few days, my patience has been tested in so many different ways.

The way life works for the most part is you can’t actually have it when you want it. Most of the time the timing itself does not work out or there is some other conflict. So what do you do? Keep working for it.

Luck is what happens when preparation and opportunity meet. You get lucky when you have put in the blood, sweat, and tears into something and you are ready for the opportunity to show your stuff. But, I feel as of late, I have forgotten how important that equation is. How important that hours of preparation are to making your life unfold before your eyes.

I believe we were all given these gifts – gifts in a special combination that no one else in the world could possibly have. To wait around for a sign or a clear path is a waste of the gifts themselves. We truly are all people of decision. No one else makes decisions for us, because in the end, we are the only one that presses the go or no go button. So you can’t really wait to make your dreams happen. You can’t really wait to be the type of person you have always wanted to be. You can’t wait for the friends. You can’t wait for the material goods. You have to go out there and create them. Because they are there waiting for you, but you have to get past the obstacle of your mind before you can go out there and bring them into your life.
