Pow! Another goal down! This one though holds special worth to me. I will take that framed 8×10 with me wherever I end up. Having done Greg’s workouts for the past few months and listening to most of his motivational speeches and whatnot every single day, it’s like he is right there in my ear every day saying “go for it. you got this. work harder!” He has always been a source of inspiration and motivation for me, and I will never forget some of the lessons he has taught me. So, there it is , another goal down.

I had incredibly interesting dreams last night. Usually I just remember funny things about the dreams that I had, but last night, I was literally on trial for something absolutely ridiculous, and after being battered by the prosecution, I was able to make my final speech. There were recognizable faces in the audience, and I gave a speech that made people rise to their feet. What happened after was much more interesting than the speech itself though. I was walking out, and saw a friend…and we walked…and she was upset apologizing for something that happened, in real life, towards the end of the school year. And all I said was “It’s okay, I know things can get pretty complicated, and you have nothing to worry about.”

The interesting part was that situation was pretty confusing to me for a long time, and for some reason that dream  gave me clarity into something that I was having a tough time seeing. I am a strong believer in the fact that things happen when they are supposed to. Not that they are predestined, but when they would serve you the most benefit. Let’s not turn this into a religious debate, but simply just the fact that you are only given as much as you can handle. Think of it this way, if you are struggling because lots of things are happening in your life, then someone above must think  you are a pretty tough cookie.

We are challenged every day to be our best. Don’t let the challenge be the reason you quit, make the challenge the exiting part.
