When it is in front of you, you just know.

Life is about two things. Responsibility and choice.

Responsibility is such a huge word, but really what it comes down to is whatever happens in your life, you are responsible for. You are responsible for what you do, who you hangout with, your decisions, your emotions,  your reactions.

Trust me, by saying “I am responsible” whenever something happens, you will take back so much personal power and be able to move on with your life.

Choice.

What it really comes down to for me is that you always have a choice.

There is no situation where you have no choice. Choice goes hand in hand with balance in your life. Sometimes you are thrown off balance because choices get taken from you.

Wrong.

Choice is never taken from you. Wake up earlier, make the time, get off your lazy bum, do whatever you need to do to get to the places you want to get to and be the person you want to be.

How do you do that? Well, I’ll tell you the way I do it.

I sit down during the first 30 minutes every morning, write out my goals and write out my vision for the day. What I want to see at the end. I don’t just run into my day, I mentally stretch my mind out before I go to work.

Empowerment.

I know that in those 30 minutes I spend every morning, I spend a good deal of the time watching video clips that inspire me. They give me strength and power. Having that motivation at the beginning of the day is all I need. Ill give you an example.

Monday, I woke up and did everything I needed to do, went to Crossfit and destroyed my body, then went to workout with Russell to work on other muscles, then was asked to go run stairs pretty much till failure with Dana. I know for certain that I would not have done the last two workouts if I had no inspiration in me.

You can always do it. Nothing can stop you. You are the only person in your way. And trust me, your body is much stronger than you think.

Complaining is Illegal.

Complaining makes you mediocre. Hands down. I have nothing to say about this besides the fact that I don’t want to hear complaining, and I myself will not complain anymore. You want personal power, delete complaints from your life.

So where does this put me. Today, I am going on a major goal setting escapade and also using this awesome template I was given to help map out my goals and take strides to achieving them.

I am dead serious about my goals, and will continue to strive after them. I will accomplish my goals.

No longer is it I wish or hope to.
