Thank you for the follow. Not to sound egotistic or anything, but I think my favorite quote was what I said to my wife after my stroke in February. She started in on everything I shouldn’t do (in her opinion) to include going down to the pond behind the house by myself and fishing. I looked her in the eyes and said “It is better to spend your dying years living than your living years dying.” Now, 9 months later, you couldn’t tell I have had a stroke other than the occasional hiccup in my speech when I forget a word.

There is no shortage of truly amazing and inspiring quotes by truly amazing and inspiring people…..for me I’ve found that all the inspiring quotes in the world won’t change a thing about me. They bring momentarily insight, get written down somewhere and then forgotten. While inspiration can be ‘borrowed’, it’s rarely long lasting.Others can light us on fire, but we are the only ones who can supply the fuel to keep that fire going. BUT!! That is only my opinion! I could be wrong…I often am! : )
