I woke up at 2:30am…dead awake…looked at the empty chalkboard in my room and started drawing.
It was an explosion of creativity.
The path that I have decided to take after the book launches and what I have to do up until that point. Things are getting pretty real as I stand only a couple weeks away from the entire process and dream being complete. But as you can see…the life after the launch explodes with writing. And here’s why.
The hardest part is starting.
Taking that first step to get you to the place you want to go.
Then you are going to be faced with every challenge life can possibly throw at you.
But if you don’t quit, it doesn’t matter how slowly you go…you will eventually get to where you want to be. Then, after all the blood, sweat, and tears….you will get to your first big milestone. When that milestone is crossed…when you are at the threshold…you have to take that last step.
That one last push then you have come out on the other side.
After this moment, your world will explode. You have opened doors for yourself that were never there before. The amount of work you have put it, even though twisted and sometimes lost in terms of output during the journey will come out magnified on the other side.
Create your own path.
Write down in color what it looks like.
Be creative.
Let your imagination run with whatever is going on in your brain.
Don’t cut yourself short.
Dream big
…and while you can expect big problems, you can expect big dreams coming true.

December 14, 2012 at 11:29 amThat’s the thing about dreams…they don’t come true unless you’re willing to act. 🙂 Love it!

December 15, 2012 at 6:49 amWow. Impressive. There are times when I shut my eyes to sleep and my brain turns on. I lay there but words keep going through my mind until I write them down. A post. An email. A poem. When I am done writing I can sleep. However I haven’t done anything nearly as impressive as your board. You’re right. The hardest part is starting. I need to start working on my dreams. I need to start.

December 15, 2012 at 12:48 pmSometimes it takes someone (or something) to give you a hefty great shove. But however it’s done, taking that first step is the all-important start. It cuts through inertia and creates its own momentum. I’m sure that’s a Zen-thing

December 15, 2012 at 3:14 pmI’m so glad you listened to what your body and brain were telling you. There is something supernatural about those moments, I think, almost like waking with a vision. Follow your dream!

I am letting God lead me in the direction where he can best use my hands and heart. I started down this path before I even realized it was what I truly wanted, but now I see it as an amazing opportunity to live outside my comfort zone. It’s great to see this in you too. Such an inspiration you are!
