“Don’t chase the paper, chase the dream” – Notorious

When you dream big, it’s your responsibility to get strong.

What does that mean? If you are going to step into the limelight…you are only as strong as the chain links that hold together your life.

If there is one weak link…it will get pulled at as hard as life can…until you break. It doesn’t matter how strong the rest are. You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Listen to yourself.

To that little voice inside of you and what it is telling you to do.

A long time ago I had no idea that there was even a voice inside of me. But now, I just hear it whispering to me all day. “Evan…do it. Go for it. You have got this.” Sure there are doubts that I have almost every single day…but they just stay that way, doubts. And in the end, they are overcome by the sound pounding in my chest.

In every speech I have ever heard, the speaker says something about doing what you are passionate about…and that keeps you hungry to work every single day. This is a trend for a reason.

I can honestly tell you I have never been tired or upset about “having” to write. In fact, it is the writing that makes my attitude turn for the better. It relaxes me…it brings me back to my goals and dreams, it lets me know that the past is the past, and the “now” is the most important thing I will ever  encounter.

Because if you are dragging the past into your present…you are living. You are functioning. Imagine when you talk to a person and they are staring off and totally unfocused on what you are telling them…yeah…you’re that guy.

Change the game. The world doesn’t have to be the way it is. In fact, if you really want to make a difference, it all starts with you believing in yourself. I once heard a speaker say that it is in fact insane to go into battle and not be afraid…but it is what you do after you recognize that fear that will make you or break you.

I am pretty darn scared about this book launching, but hell I’m doing it! I am charging head first into this and trust that I am doing it for the right reasons. I am doing it to chase the dream…something that has been in my head for the longest of times.

Fear < Courage…keep it that way.

Suffer the sacrifices of today and live the rest of your life a champion. When you give something now, you are tacking the results onto your future. And then one day, when those gives add up…you will be and have something that is incredible.

So keep going. Keep hustling. Don’t stop. And have courage over fear.

Change the game. Remain faithful.
