Appreciate Life

I am going to start writing the introduction to the book tonight and am pretty sure I know how it is all going to begin. Day (0) – The Story. I think going back and looking at all the memories I have had throughout the past 22 years will be an amazing experience. There is no doubt in my mind that I have had some compelling experiences and I am sure you will get a kick out of some. So far, without pictures, my blog has landed me 250 pages of single spaced type without pictures. It is interesting to think of all the emotion in those posts. I have gone back and read some, and while the purpose and intention is different, the voice is still there.

Writing an introduction to this book will be fun because it will be show me how far I have come in the last year. I don’t think I will realize the magnitude of the transformation until I read through and edit every single post. This is going to take a great amount of time, but the result will be worth it. I am interested to read some of the things I have said over the past year. What I am going to do is take some of the best excerpts from each post and I will create a page with them on there.

One of the last things I want to talk about today is to appreciate life. There are times when you need to splurge, to eat donuts, to just enjoy yourself and appreciate every single awesome moment of life. It helps you get back into the frame of mind that you need to be in. With the goals I have, there are times when I need to break character and enjoy the little things in life. When you appreciate life, you appreciate every single moment, and live your life to the fullest.

Awesome thoughts-thank you. It is not worth living someone else’s life. Be happy or do what makes you happy.

Great post. Someone once said to me “nobody promised you a tomorrow”. It stayed with me and is a reminder to live my life instead of faffing around. Good luck with your book.
