Sometimes I wonder if I am doing the right thing. The wrong thing. The popular thing. The loner thing. The best thing. The worst thing. And then I remember…after all the doubts and questions…I am doing me. My own unique path. My own direction.
The message is short today. Create your own path. Do it your way. Because if you don’t do it your way, someone else will make a path for you. Then you are just a pawn on someone else’s chess board. Be the king of your world.
Evan

Simple but so spot on. Love this. Shared and pressing!

Totally! And short but sweet is wonderful. Makes it easier to ‘get it out’ too. Thank you for making my Monday morning that much better with such a delightful post and picture as well!

Very nice! Keep it real! Though keeping it short, it gets the message across!
So simple, yet so necessary. Would like to re-blog this if you don’t mind.
I love this!
Believe in yourself….
Nice Evan!
Never a truer word was spoken …
… Thanks for sharing. Cheerz! Dorothy
No matter what we do–even if we think we’re doing something somebody else’s way–we’re still likely doing it in our own way . . . We’re still doing what we’re doing of somebody else’s in a way that is uniquely our own. Even if we think we’re walking on someone else’s path, we’re waliking that path in a way that is still our own. We can’t escape ourselves. The question isn’t so much my path or another’s path–it just creates a false dilemma (it’s just the ego talking … me, me, me), but what part of us shows up to that path–what’s best in us or what’s less than best in us (the nonthinking, inattentive, etc, part). For the ego it’s all about me me me, what’s in it for me, what about me, etc; there’s something in us however that cares more about truth, what’s best, doing our best, etc, and that part isn’t so concerned about being on it’s own path as it is being on a truly noble and decent path.
So wise… thank you to both of you, Evan and John.
Great job Evan!
I don’t know how you knew I needed to hear this today. It was the perfect wake up call for me this morning. Thanks
Great post! Very inspirational to see in the morning.
Perfect! And always a good reminder to ourselves.
Sometimes short and sweet is best. Thanks for the powerful reminder!
Short, sweet, and perfectly said!
it’s so important to follow our own path and let it take us to healing and wonderment.
walk in beauty.
OMG, I was thinking this very thing this morning!!!! I’m totally with you. Accept opinions with thanks but always follow your own intuition. It comes as a whisper – so listen!
Nicely said, and have to agree, its the little things that count.
Short and sweet, yet still a perfectly clear and true message. And yes – it really is the little things.
Much love,
B
